• User access rights

Three modes can be setup (each user) :

• No Electronic gate: These users can only register their time of clocking (in/out), door lock is not activated and if it is locked, they have to wait for an authorized user.
• Limited access Electronic gate: These users can unlock the door within a specific time frame setup in CLOKEY MANAGER. There are six schedules available (x 7 days). User can be in one schedule only. This setup is for all time clock in one CLOKEY network.
• Unlimited access Electronic gate: These users can unlock the door at any time.

• Users group

• Users can be allocated to one or several groups, and groups are allocated to one or several time clocks.
• In group setup, you can allocate the time allowed to anticipate door opening according to the user's schedule.

• POWER SUPPLY

Time Clocks PC and CkiQF device must run on a UPS. In case of a major power failure or defective UPS, it is obvious that a key will be necessary to get access to the premise until power comes-up again.

• NETWORK and SERVER MODE

Time clocks can run in stand-alone mode on a PC or in remote access mode on a CLOKEY SERVER. This mode is useful when the PC hosting the Time Clock is not powerful. The CLOKEY SERVER will run the FPC matching process, then instructions will be sent back to the Host PC through the network. If network fails, the Host PC will automatically run in stand-alone mode unless this feature is disabled in CLOKEY MANAGER for security choice.

•CKIQF or SENSOR ALONE, RESPONSE TIME

When using a Fingerprint Sensor alone, CLOKEY ENGINE will match clocking user fingerprint with each fingerprint characteristics in the FPC users database. Upon processor speed, this process may take from 60msec to 150msec per matching multiply by the position of clocking user in FPC users database (i.e. in the case of a user on the 20th position on the list, it will take from 1.2 to 3 seconds to valid his fingerprint).
When using the keypad from CKIQF, the matching is made immediately with the FPC clocking user record, and upon processor speed, this process may only take from 60msec to 150msec.
Additionally to this process time, you must consider the response time of the PC according to its foreground load. All energy saving features should be disabled; otherwise the first clocking user may have to wait for the whole PC wake-up process to enter.
When using a Fingerprint Sensor alone, ILS surveillance cannot be enabled manually, and there is no display or sound on miscellaneous event.

•U.are.U® Pro and U.are.U® Integrator

U.are.U® Pro is a software design by Digital Persona to replace password logging in windows system and applications, with fingerprint scan.
U.are.U® Integrator is the driver necessary to use CLOKEY with U.are.U® Fingerprint Sensors. You can use both on the PC where is installed CLOKEY Manager, but not on the PC where is attached the time-clock (CLOKEY Engine) as U.are.U® takes the priority when the PC is locked and fingerprint scan are no longer sent to CLOKEY Engine but to U.are.U® software.
